Prior to setting up the L2B Aviation, Richard acted as a Consultant for Clyde & Co and before that he was Vice President Corporate Affairs of an aircraft leasing company in Shannon and Head of Aviation at a City law firm. Richard has been selected by Euromoney, based on peer recommendation, for entry in their “World’s Leading Aviation Lawyers” expert guide. |

Chris was an assistant solicitor in the Norton Rose specialist Aircraft
Finance Group. He has acted on behalf of some of the world’s major
airlines, banks and financial institutions in relation to a broad range
of aircraft finance and leasing transactions. |

| Kath Shimmin | |
Kath
heads Blake Lapthorn Tarlo Lyons Banking Group. She joined the firm in 1994
having previously practised for six years at Slaughter and May. Kath
has extensive banking experience and has acted for a number of major
banks, as well as “Blue Chip” corporate clients, on a wide range of
financing transactions. These include single lender and syndicated
loans, both secured and unsecured, preference share issues and other
capital investment projects, project financings, swaps, bonds and other
capital markets instruments and a wide range of asset financings.
Kathryn also advises on non-contentious insolvency issues.

| Michael Nott | |
Michael
is a solicitor within Blake Lapthorn Tarlo Lyons Aviation team. He has over
30 years experience working overseas and in the UK on aviation law.
Michael has acted for airlines, airports, tour operators, travel agents,
ground handling contractors and has a wealth of experience on aviation
operations and all legal aspects relating to airports, including noise
and slots.
Prior to joining Blake Lapthorn Tarlo Lyons, Michael was head of the aviation practice at London Solicitors, Rowe & Maw. He also spent 18 years with the British Airports Authority, where he was a senior solicitor and company secretary, and 4 years working at Kilpatrick and Cody in Atlanta, USA. |

| Nicholas Keitley | |
Nick
heads Blake Lapthorn Tarlo Lyons Insolvency and Business Rescue Group. He is a
licensed insolvency practitioner and has specialised in insolvency and
business rescue work since qualifying as a solicitor. Nick advises companies
and individuals about their financial problems and is becoming increasingly
involved in company voluntary arrangements and other methods of business
rescue. He also advises directors of insolvent companies as to
their duties and responsibilities and deals with disqualification applications.
He is frequently consulted by creditors as to their rights and remedies
and works closely with the firm's Litigation Department including our
computerised Debt Collection Unit. Nick also acts for clients on the
purchase of businesses and assets from insolvency practitioners. In
addition to pure insolvency work, Nick has considerable expertise in
solvent liquidations, company reorganisations and banking work.

| Stephen Murfitt | |
Stephen
Murfitt has been a Partner at Blake Lapthorn Tarlo Lyons since 1977. He specialises in commercial litigation with particular
reference to all aspects of construction and engineering disputes, intellectual
property law, information technology and computer law, commercial disputes,
professional indemnity and professional disciplinary tribunals.
He is experienced in dealing with the High Court, including the Official
Referees Court, and the County Court. He also has experience of both
Domestic and International arbitrations. In 1997 he was awarded an LLM
in Advanced Litigation with a distinction. He is Solicitor to the General
Optical Council. |
