George R. Harper is recognized as a leading attorney in the
field of Latin American - U.S. business transactions. International
legal projects with which he has had significant experience include
operating and finance aviation equipment leases, foreign debt
renegotiations, asset-based lending, distribution agreements,
franchising, licensing, and commercial transactions. Mr. Harper has
represented various executives, families and businesses in the
acquisition, financing and leasing of executive jet aircraft
including Learjet, Beechjet, Hawker, Falcon, Challenger,
Gulfstream, Embraer, Boeing Business Jet, various executive
helicopters and others. Mr. Harper is President-Elect of the
Inter-American Bar Association, and a former member of the ABA
Advisory Council of the Latin America Law Initiative. Mr. Harper is
fluent in Spanish.
